Students Achievement - Jan 09

In the Inter Collegiate Fest “Acumen 09” organized by the ICFAI National College Mangalore, our college team won the “Over All Championship”.

The following Students excelled in various events.

Sharmila, Shivshankar, Neethi, Smitha, Shruthi, Jnanashree, Amritha, Suman, Suhan, Vineeth, Rashmitha and Rajesh secured the first place in ‘Variety Entertainment’.

Sharmila won the 'Best M.C' title.

Shivshankar won the award for ‘Creativity’.

Suhan, Vineeth, Rashmitha, Rajesh, Sharmila, Amritha, Shruthi and Suman secured the Award for the ‘Best Skit’.

In the Inter Collegiate Fest organized by the “Jaycees Moodabidri”, SDM College of Business Management won the “Over All Championship”.

The following Students excelled in various events.

SDM College of Business Management won the ‘Runners Up Championship’.

Sowmya and Abijna secured the second place in ‘Chem-Mystery’.

Eshan and Satyaraj secured the first place in ‘Carnage’ - Counter strike.

Sagar and Chandini secured the first place in ‘Exhibition’.

Preethi secured the fist place in ‘Biology Seminar’.

Karisma and Apoorva secured the first place in ‘Debate’.

Rakshith Shetty won the title “Imprints Personality”.

Arjun Kapikad, Arnold, Taha, Jwala, Wafa secured the Third place in ‘Street Play’.

Sahil secured the Third place in T-Shirt Painting.

STUDENT’S ACHIEVEMENTS for the year 2009 - 2010

1. Supreeth of I BCA ‘A’ secured I^st place in the 25^th Karnataka State Junior Athletic Championship held at Kanteerava stadium in Bangalore on 5^th November 2009 (1.93mts)
2. Supreeth of I BCA 'A'  won the IV place with the height of 2.03 mts at Anna University, Chennai, held from 28^th December 2009 to 31^st December 2009.
3. Vivek D’souza I BBM 'B', Anoop Basti II BCA & Sanjay Kamath I MBA participated in the South Zone Inter University Basketball Championship at Visweshwarayya Institute of Technology, Vellore, Andra Pradesh.
4. Suhas Bhat of II BCA participated in All India Inter University Power Lifting Competition held at Gurunanak Dev University, Amrithsar on 21^strd January 2010.
5. Gautham Pai T of II BCA 'A' has won  2^nd place in duet singing competition held at PPC Udupi on 16^th as part of ‘Sandhyotsava’.
6. Supreeth I BCA ‘A’ secured Ist place in the District level Dasara Meet (High Jump).
7. Mallikaran, II BHRD, attended group folk dance competition at Alvas College and won III prize.
8. Prashanth Shet II BBM ‘A’ attended Roshny  Nilaya fest Mime show and won III place.
9.  Rakshith Shetty of III BCA ‘A’ has secured III place in Mime.
10.  Rakshith Shetty of III BCA ‘A’ has secured I place in Comedy Circus.
11. Pawan Kumar of III BCA ‘A’ has secured I place in Treasure Hunt.
12.  Sagar Balu Vyas  of III BCA ‘A’ has secured II place in Quiz.
13.  Avinash of II BBM ‘B’ has secured II place in Quiz.
14.  K. M. Mohsin of II BBM ‘B’ has secured I place in Marketing event held at ICFAI College, Mangalore. Our college team also secured II place in Ice Breaker event in the same college.
15.  Students participated in Meridian College Fest and secured second place in Eastern Group Song event and won III place in Western Group Song. The team also won I place in  Eastern Group Song  at MIFT College, Mangalore.

Other Achivements

Three students, Ravindra Poojary, Revathi and Christopher of III year BBM, got the opportunity of going for the university level selection camp at Konaje. Christopher won a prize in miming.
