• Selected as the selection committee member for Mangalore University Swimming Team.
• Attended the M.U.I.C. Kabbadi Tournament on 28^th and 29^th October 2009 at Neharu Memorial College, Sullia.
• Selected as the selection committee member for Mangalore University Volleyball Team for the academic year 2009-10.
• Participated as Chief official in the Tulu Atta - Koota, a special event organised as a part of Tulu Sammelana.
• Escorted Mangalore University Volleyball team to the South Zone Inter-University Volleyball Tournament from 28^th December to 2^nd January 2010. The team won the Runners Up in South Zone and entered into All India Inter Zonal’s Volleyball Tournament.

Participated in an International Conference held at Australian School of Business, Sydney, Australia (The University of New Smith works) and presented two papers titled, “Customer buying pattern and role of Advisers with special reference to ICICI Prudential Life Insurance”.

The second paper presented was "Brand awareness and perception of insurance investment as a profession with special reference to Bajaj Alliance industry in India" at the 12^th Annual APRIA conference from 6th to 9th July 2008.

Invited to be the Chief Guest for the valedictory function of Insurance Week Celebration LIC of India, Mangalore.

Visited Singapore Management University & participated in an International Conference on 10^th July, 2008.

Received the honour of Fellow Member of All India Management Association in a glittering function held at India Habitat Centre, on the occasion of  13^th convocation of AIMA. This honour is given in recognition of significant contribution to professional management in India. Dr. Devaraj k. was the only person from Karnataka to recieve the honour & all over the country only 13 people received the honour in this academic year.
