Today when we are bringing out 25th batch of BBM students to the society , I am confident that these students are going out with lot of value additions to the course based on many experiments like leadership development games , effective communication , students seminars, group discussions, management games, executive encounters, factory visits , industrial tours, students' fest - Synergy , campus selection , job fair , faculty development, staff empowerment , seminars , workshops, conferences, NAAC assessment, TQM & other extension activities . It reminds the efforts of Thomas Alva Edison who invented the electric bulb but idi not succeed in his very first attempt . He invented it only after almost one thousand failures. Someone asked him , " You conducted a thousand experiments , out of them, 999 failed, only one succeeded"Edison retorted "How can you say that I did not find out anything during these 999 experiments? To invent one working bulb, I learnt how not to make 999 non working ones."
In the context of emerging trends of Gobalization of Business, Government Policies and Industrial Policy resolutions a new environment has emerged. In the years to come all manufacturing activities may be shifted to Asain countries and since India is having god skilled manpower it is placed in best postion to grab the opportunities in process industries like pharmaceuticals, Steel, Textiles, Computers & IT Software providers and automobile parts and research and development . Earlier, Indians were considered as uneducated mahouts, snake charmers or cab drivers whereas today Indians are idenfiied as educated computer savvy persons all over . All the credit for the achivement goes to the parents, teachers who have given good education to the children, professionals managers, enterpreneurs, educationists & philanthropists of the country S.D. Mites want to be a part of such growth by contributing to its share in the form of good talented youth with requests skill to face the challenges believing that the end of all knowledge must be building of character !
